What we look for
Propose a webinar session: four things every proposal needs
Work you did, in a named site or service. The plant, the problem, what you changed, and what it looked like afterwards.
A measure, a starting point, a period and the change. Estimates are fine if you say so; claims without a baseline are not.
For a Solution showcase, the person who runs the product day to day joins the session and answers questions alongside you.
Forty-five minutes of content, then fifteen minutes in which the audience can ask anything, including what did not work.
How it works
Three steps from proposal to session
Sessions run on Thursdays at 13:00 UTC and are recorded. Practitioner cases are free; Solution showcases are paid sessions, booked and priced per session and open to any solution provider.
Propose
Send a title, the case in five lines, and the results you can show with numbers. Two hundred words is enough.
Review
A member of the Advisory Council reads it for substance and fit. Product sessions are welcome as labelled Solution showcases; a session with no benefit for the people who do the work is declined.
Schedule
We agree a Thursday, run a short rehearsal, and announce the session to registrants and on its own page.
Two kinds of session
Which one are you proposing?
Practitioner case
Free
A plant head, a CI leader, an SME owner, an academic or an award entrant presenting work they did, with the numbers. No fee, and the recording goes to members.
Solution showcase
Paid
A software, equipment or service provider presenting its product inside a real deployment, with a user on screen. Complimentary for current awards sponsors this season; from April 1, 2027 booked and priced per session.
FAQ
Before you propose a webinar session
Practitioners in any industry: plant and site leaders, continuous improvement and quality managers, award entrants and winners, and academics with applied work. Solution providers propose Solution showcases, with a user of the product on screen.
A member of the Advisory Council reads the proposal and we reply within ten working days: yes with a suggested date, a request for more detail, or a no with the reason.
A few are fine. The best sessions show the real work: the board, the data, the before and after, and the person who did it.
No, for practitioner sessions. Solution showcases are paid sessions for providers, clearly labeled; current awards sponsors receive one this season with our compliments.
