What is Scytec?
Scytec, based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, was formed in 2001 as a software development and consulting company and is now part of Minitab. Its main product, DataXchange, is a cloud-based OEE and machine monitoring application that collects data from CNC machines and other shop floor equipment to track utilization, downtime and productivity. The system connects to controls from builders such as Mazak, Okuma, Doosan and Matsuura, and is designed to scale from a few machines at one site to hundreds across a global enterprise.
