AVEVA is an industrial software company headquartered in Cambridge, England, and owned by Schneider Electric. It began in 1967 as the government-backed Computer-Aided Design Centre, and its heritage brands include Wonderware, OSIsoft, Citect and Tribon. For manufacturing operations it offers AVEVA MES, a hybrid cloud system for production control, scheduling, quality sampling and SPC, multi-site analytics and ERP integration, alongside the PI System historian, HMI and SCADA software and process simulation. Its portfolio also covers plant and marine engineering design.
