About this session
Plants now generate more data in a shift than a Black Belt project once collected in a month, yet decisions are still made on averages and last week’s chart. This session separates what has genuinely changed, from continuous data streams to automated control charts, from what has not: variation, capability, the difference between a signal and noise, and the discipline of confirming a cause before acting.
One plant case runs through the session, with its own dashboards, so the audience can see where automation helped and where it produced confident nonsense.
What you take away
- The five statistical ideas every operations leader still has to hold
- Where automation helps and where it produces confident nonsense
- A checklist for reading a dashboard the way a Master Black Belt would
Who it is for
Operations directors, CI leaders and anyone who signs off on a dashboard.
