What is SAP?
SAP is an enterprise software company founded in 1972 by five former IBM programmers and headquartered in Walldorf, Germany. Its ERP portfolio, led by SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One for smaller firms, covers finance, procurement, supply chain, production planning, manufacturing execution and quality for discrete and process manufacturers. SAP also owns SAP Signavio, a business process transformation suite that includes process mining and process modeling. SAP reports more than 110,000 employees from over 157 countries, more than 100 development locations and a global customer base across nearly all industries.
