What is Odoo?
Odoo is a Belgian software company headquartered in Grand-Rosiere and led by founder Fabien Pinckaers, whose TinyERP project later became OpenERP and then Odoo. It offers a suite of open source business applications covering CRM, accounting, inventory, e-commerce, point of sale and project management. For manufacturers, the Manufacturing app provides MRP, work orders and shop floor control, and connects with separate PLM, Quality and Maintenance apps on one platform. Odoo reports 28 million users, more than 8,000 employees and over 21,000 partners, with offices in countries including the United States, Mexico, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Kenya, the UAE, India, China, Indonesia and Australia.
