It was founded in 1990 by three engineers as AIS, a company for automation and information systems, and joined S&T AG, now Kontron AG, in 2019. It has more than 230 employees. Its FabEagle product family covers manufacturing execution, line control, monitoring and connectivity, and it also offers the EquipmentCloud platform for machine builders, SEMI-compliant FabLink equipment interfaces and ToolCommander. The company serves semiconductors, photovoltaics, electronics, pharmaceuticals, automotive and thin-film coating, and also builds software for rail automation and fleet management.
