What is Inductive Automation?

Inductive Automation is a software company based in Folsom, California, founded in 2003 by former control systems integrator Steve Hechtman. It develops Ignition, a database-centric, web-deployed platform used to build SCADA, HMI, alarming, reporting, MES and IIoT applications, with editions for servers, the edge, the cloud and hobby use. Ignition is licensed per server with unlimited tags, clients and connections. The company supports a global integrator program, runs Inductive University for free training, and works through distributors in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
