What is IASSC (International Association for Six Sigma Certification)?
The International Association for Six Sigma Certification, known as IASSC, is an independent certification body for Lean Six Sigma professionals. It does not provide training itself. Instead it maintains a standard body of knowledge, administers proctored exams for Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt certification, and runs Lean certifications and an accreditation program for training providers and their courseware. Candidates can verify credentials through an online registry. Since 2020 IASSC has been owned by PeopleCert, a certification company that also manages ITIL, PRINCE2 and LanguageCert and operates in more than 200 countries.
