What is Cumulocity?
Cumulocity is an industrial IoT and AIoT platform company headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany. Founded in 2012, it was acquired by Software AG in 2017 and continued to operate under its own brand. The platform covers device integration through thin-edge.io and protocol adapters, device fleet management, a digital twin manager, streaming analytics, a data hub and a Cockpit application for monitoring assets. It is used by equipment makers and operators in manufacturing, utilities, medical devices, transport and telecom, and the company lists offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States.
