What is Arkite?
Arkite NV is a Belgian scale-up headquartered in Genk, with a German office in Aachen, founded in 2015 by Johan Smeyers and Ives De Saeger. It builds an operator guidance platform for manual manufacturing that projects augmented reality work instructions onto the workstation and uses sensors to detect and validate each step as it happens. The system supports assembly, picking and kitting, cabling and wire harness work, tightening, traceability, knowledge preservation and flexible production, and connects to factory IT systems. Arkite serves automotive, high-tech and electronics, aerospace and defense and other manufacturers, working with partners across Europe.
