What is ARIS?
ARIS is a process intelligence software company whose roots go back to 1992 and the ARIS modeling methodology. Long part of Software AG, it became an independent company in 2025 and operates as SAG ARIS GmbH, headquartered in Saarbrucken, Germany. Its platform combines process mining, process modeling, simulation, workflow orchestration and process governance, and positions this process knowledge as context for enterprise AI agents. ARIS mainly serves Global 2000 organizations, with solution areas for finance and shared services, supply chain, customer experience, banking and manufacturing. Customer stories include Standard Bank, Boots, Nationwide and Johnson & Johnson.
